DISCOVER CAM THANH ECOLOGICAL VILLAGE

The Toursit area named Hoi An Eco-Discovery was formed by a local person who has a passion for Cam Thanh ecological village. The purpose of Hoi An Eco-Discovery is to popularize and advertise Cam Thanh

ecological village to local and international people; to offer an interesting trip coming to Hoi An and

Cam Thanh village for visitors who want to experience historical, cultural and biological aspects with local people in Cam Thanh; to create more jobs with more income for people there to improve their life and try to preserve cultural value and the ecosystem as the life bood of Hoi An town.

Tourism services in Hoi An Eco Discovery are all performed by local people. This will help visitors to have actual experiences with diligent, honest, ordinary people trying the best to serve visitors.

Participating in tours of Hoi An Eco Discovery means to contribute to the sustainable development of Cam Thanh ecological village.

Cam Thanh package Tour Itinerary

• 8h00 – 8h30: Pick up visitors in the hotel (in Hoi An and the team will ride the bicycle to Cam Thanh ecological village
• 8h30 – 9h15: Meet with farmers in Thanh Dong, explore vegetable garden be told about farming experiences and instructed how to grow vegetables, water vegetables and hoe ground
• 9h15 – 10h00: Ride the bicycle through rice fields and enjoy smell of mature rice or stubble in harvest. Visitors can also see the cemetery and listen to the story about a concubine of General King Quang Trung and Tay Son lying at rest there. Then, visit a fish sauce production site of grandmother Tu to learn how to produce fish sauce and try the special fish sauce.
• 10h00 – 10h30: Visitors may ride on buffalo-back with friendly farmers like local children do.
• 10h30 – 11h30: Arrive at the next destination of Hoi An Eco Discovery and discover Bay Mau nipa palm forest on coracles and learn how to row coracles on the river.
• 11h30 – 14h00: Take a rest and relax in Hoi An Eco Discovery with games such as fishing, “dap noi”, “bit mat bat de”… Have lunch.
• 14h00: Ride the bicycle back to the hotel and end the trip.
